Paplin Products Metal Wheels - Wheel holes can be drilled larger for wood screws and dowels. - Wheels look great unpainted! To take the shine off of the wheel, or for a time worn look, soak the wheels overnight in vinegar or paint thinner and scrub with a toothbrush. - Wheels with flat sides can be glued together for a double sided wheel. Be sure to use a strong cement glue for bonding metals. - Wheels look great painted! Spray flat or enamel paints work equally well. Before painting, soak wheels in vinegar or use metal primer. Rust or black primer looks great alone.
