Machine Woven Cane
This style of cane is used on chairs
that do not have holes. A piece of spline is driven into a groove around the
seat to hold the cane in place. First soak the properly cut cane, apply
white cement into the groove. Spline is then driven into the groove holding
the cane webbing into place.

Fiber Rush
Made from very tough grade kraft paper
which is twisted into a strand to resemble natural rush. In most cases 5/32"
or 6/32" are used on standard chairs and 4/32" is used on smaller chairs or
stools. The natural color is used to resemble antique rush seats. Use 2 to 3
pounds per chair.
